Accessibility Statement

Salento Ltd wants every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website independently and comfortably. We designed and built the site with accessibility in mind and continue to improve it.

Standard

The site was built to meet the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, and we have aimed for WCAG 2.1 level AA throughout.

What we have done

• The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on every link and button.
• A "Skip to content" link appears as the first item for keyboard and screen reader users.
• Headings follow a logical order, and the main areas of the page are marked as navigation, main content and footer.
• Text and background colors meet AA contrast ratios in both light and dark mode.
• Images that carry information have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Links that open another website say so to screen readers.
• The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktop, and text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.
• Animation is minimal and is switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
• The site does not use an accessibility overlay plugin; accessibility is built into the code itself.

Known limitations

• Some links lead to external pages (Instagram, partner websites) that Salento Ltd does not control and whose accessibility we cannot guarantee.
• One campaign poster contains printed text; its content is described in the image's text alternative.
